Plasma Fibroblast

Plasma is one of the four states of matter, just like solid, liquid or gas. It consists of a gas of ions and free electrons. An arc of supercharged plasma stimulates the fibroblast in the dermis to stimulate new collagen and elastin production. Unlike laser, plasma produces minimum thermal energy, hence, it doesn’t cause collateral or surrounding tissue thermal damage.

Frequently Asked Questions

It reduces open pores, acne, fine lines, deep wrinkles, pigmentation, and sagging skin.

It can be done ablatively and non-ablatively.

During an ablative treatment, a pointed tip produces an arc of plasma that touches the skin which generates focal heat and causes that part of skin to sublimate (remove). Thereby it helps in treating an excess sagging skin in the upper eyelid, face, neck, hands or anywhere. After the treatment, there will be scab formation which helps in healing and falls off on its own once the healing is complete. Skin looks tighter, firmer and free of blemishes after this procedure.

A less ablative version known as cat resurfacing technique is employed to delivery a controlled superficial injury mimicking a cat scratch, which heals in 2-3days leading to the glorious complexion in the shortest time.

A non-ablative treatment known as the plasma shower causes invisible trauma to the skin, that helps to absorb the topically applied nutrients and renew the skin without any downtime.
